Can u do a eclipse turbo swap on a neon? Some neons came with the 420A motor in them that is the same as the NA eclipes. I think there are some minor differences

Yeah I don't think it would be that hard but idk. Correct me if I'm wrong but in the turbo 2g eclipes the timing belt is on the right side. And on the neon version of the 420a the timing belt is also on the right side. My friend has a 2g NA eclipse and on his form they call eclipses a sporty neon. LOL sounds BA to me

joel (2nd gen black) had one fully built to the gills. corey you cud check with him about fixing up the 420a.

yea good idea you guy's but i have to fix the alternator and timing belt...hopefully next year a 420a if dad lets me

yeah the non turbo eclipse were 420a instead of your exhaust in the back of the engine like it is now it will be in the front and the intake will be in the back instead of the front but it will be easy bolt in though.... a friend of mine has a 420a that is .20 eagle rods and some kinda pistons, cams and a t3t4 turbo and hes laying to the wheels like 375 hp its stick as all get out and the car looks stock lol let me know when your ready for that bc i have a nice running 420a i took out of a car that was wrecked..... i have it anytime for ya k
