Hey guys! My name is Clint and I just moved to Jamestown from Georgia. I heard about the club and site from a couple people and figured why not hook up with other people who share my taste in modifying cars?

First off let me start by saying I have been browsing the site and I must say I would be honored if you would consider me to be a part of the club!

My car is pretty rarely seen in the world of modified cars. Its a 2000 Daewoo Lanos Hatchback. This car has been my pride and joy for 3 years and I have spent a lot of time and money on getting her looking good!

Rear Shot Top Wing Custom fit from a Focus Hatchback, Midwing custom from a Civic hatch, Clear tails, Ebay Rear Bumper, Sebring Muffler Fell off so its just running like that for now. I have been told numerous time it looks like a new STi from the back!


Motor Shot 1.6 16v 98hp (should be around 140 now) Custome AEM intake, plug wires, Cat Delete, Tuning Chip, Naws 50 shot on order!


Interior Leather custom Red Black seat covers and Autometer Wideband and Vacuum Gauge.

Escort my car is set up decebt. Kybs in the front, stock struts in the rear, I heated the stock springs to lower the car and cut a coil out in the rear. I want to hit up some autocross this year.

If your down maybe we can meet up and hit up some backroads around my area. There is some wicked curves out on Plymouth/Rosemoore Rd out by St Rt 35.

On another note, what's this Street Life Tour thing I keep reading about? Is it cool? It sounds like a lot of guys enjoy it but I've never heard of it.

its at erwin j nutter center they close a big part of the parking lot and its sactioned its really nice no NOS though just N/A or turbo cars only

I had a friend that used to run that course there at the Nutter years ago. Is that still put on by the SCCA?

Escort, The Street Life Tour was held at Kil Kare several Sundays last year. It was a great event very similar to the street wars held on the west coast. We have been hearing a lot of rumors about its future and even if they are going to have it at all this year (at least at Kil Kare). As soon as we find something out we will let everyone know.

i hope they have SLT agian. it was an awesome event

yeah its still held by SCCA it is awsome i was a member of it and i lost interest due to buying a house and money toward the car but i will be an active member again and do some times,,,,,what it is you get there early in the morning and you walk the track, then you drive it slowly, its so fun then you go all the way, they make the track different each week they are there, so its like goin to different race tracks

does it cost money? can you just show up and race?

yeah it cost so much a year buy not much i cant remember but you can go there and it cost like 20 bucks to race if your a member they do points standings in your class and you win a trophy at the end of the year, its like nascar with the points its very competitive and its very fun it gets your Adrenaline goin for sure we should get some ppl together and enter as a group a team would be awsome, i ran some good numbers with my mazda but mazdas are made for this stuff hence the zoom zoom lol but come 1 come all lets do this thing this year it will be a blast note: must have helmet
